Matthew, you hit on an important point. This platform is very much *not* about “the masses” making good decisions. A well designed architecture should flow high trust + high expertise people to each given question. I’d suggest that this is an “MVP” of the platform. Most of the existing efforts at something like proxies or delegation are still “version 1.x” and far away from viable.

This is an artifact of how the current system is gamed: after all even full time staff with a decade of relevant experience aren’t well positioned to really understand something like this. It probably first evolved as a consequence of the need to get a lot done while the diplomats were together — today it is a way to force bad legislation down our throats. This should be disaggregated into lots of much smaller and more easily digestible components that are dealt with on an individual basis.
